The above diagram is offered, not to offend, but to provoke thought about the difference ministry objectives between a Prayer Room and a Church. The mindset of facilitating worship instead of leading worship is important in some Prayer Room ministries such as EHOP for the mission of a Prayer Room is very different from a church.

Prayer Room music ministry does not seek to lead a congregation. Its aim is to be led itself, by following the move of the Holy Spirit through Spirit filled worshipers who act in faith upon the unction of the Holy Spirit. This is a fluid environment that must move beyond rehearsed set lists to be effective. In the Prayer Room dynamic the most sensitive and gifted musicians can only hope to help facilitate worship according to how the true Worship Leader....the Holy Spirit Himself... is choosing to move.
